Several years ago in San Diego, I found myself doing what so many of us do—I was venting to a friend about everything that was going wrong in my role as VP of the Northeast. She listened patiently for a good half hour, and then she said something that stopped me in my tracks:
“Lynette, I hear what you don’t want… and I’m wondering—what is it that you do want?”
I was stunned by her insight. Even more stunned to realize I hadn’t truly asked myself that question. That single comment set me on a journey I still live to this day.
In essence, I decided to begin thinking about—and visualizing—what I wanted. And the secret to it all was, and still is, this: to feel the presence of what I desire, and to be grateful as if it’s already on its way to me.
I could feel it. See it. Want it. Describe it as if it already existed.
Manifestation takes clarity. It takes visualization. It takes feeling it—smelling it, trying it on, stepping into it—until you know, deep down, that it’s on its way.
We are all connected, and energy is the root of everything. When you get clear about what you want, you begin to magnify it—drawing it closer, matching it, becoming the version of you who is ready to receive it.
So be grateful. Relax. Write it down.
You deserve it.
